Get to know your hosts:
Merav Hoffman and Batya Wittenberg
Merav Hoffman (she/they)
Raised in a house like a library by a rabbi and a librarian, which created an inevitable love of books. When not reading, Merav wears a lot of hats, including singer, songwriter, media archivist, social nexus and general coordinator of things. Merav lives in New Jersey with her family and an awful lot of houseplants and not a few books.
Batya Wittenberg (she/her)
Raised in an Orthodox Jewish household by two lifelong educators, Batya has been an avid reader since early childhood, and has never seen a reason to stop enjoying children’s books in adulthood. She particularly enjoys science fiction and fantasy works, as well as detective and historical fiction, and is always delighted to find good books featuring Jewish characters.
